Active Release Technique® (ART)

Active Release Technique® is a patented, state-of-the-art soft tissue system/movement-based technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, and nerves. Headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems, and tennis elbow are just a few of the many conditions that can be resolved quickly and permanently with Active Release Techniques®.

Overused muscles lead to chronic tension causing the formation of dense scar tissue in an affected area. This scar tissue binds up and ties down tissues that need to move freely. As scar tissue builds up, muscles become shorter and weaker, tension on tendons causes tendonitis, and nerves can become trapped. This can cause a reduced range of motion, numbness, and weakness.

ELDOA™

ELDOAis a revolutionary therapeutic exercise system that aims to reduce the compression on joints and normalizing tension in the body. Disc compression existing at any level of the spine can be addressed through a specific ELDOA exercise, and help to compliment any treatment and home program.

The ELDOAcan effectively alleviate and overtime help fix acute and chronic back pain. When done regularly, ELDOA can help offset many of the risk factors that can cause degeneration and herniation of the intervertebral discs.

Once learned, these exercises can be used by a patient long term to manage pain or simply maximize mobility. ELDOA is a French acronym for Longitudinal Decompression Articular Stretching and was developed by world-renowned rehabilitation expert Dr. Guy Voyer, DO.

ELDOA™ Program:

  • ELDOA 1 – Common ELDOA’s for the Spine

  • ELDOA 2 – Spine

  • ELDOA 3 – Hip, Shoulder, Ribs

  • ELDOA 4 – Pelvis

  • ELDOA 5.1 – Spinal Pathology

  • Dr. Jaron Hua is ELDOA™ 5.1 Certified.

Spinal, Postural, Functional & Performance Screens

Functional Movement Systems - Move Well. Move Often.

At Synergia Spine & Sport, we believe that physical performance is dependent on understanding how the body functions and maximizing that ability. To function at a high level an athlete must have strength, stability, flexibility, mobility and coordination. All of these characteristics are evaluated at our clinic through the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA©) which is the gold standard for physical assessment. Once weaknesses or imbalances are identified, an appropriate plan can be prescribed and followed to maximize physical function. All treatment and rehabilitation exercises are administered with the goal of improving physical performance for the chosen sport or activity. Our results are demonstrated on the field, the court or in the gym.

Diversified Chiropractic Adjustment

Our clinicians are trained in diversified chiropractic manipulation techniques. This represents a blend of techniques from various chiropractic institutions.

Joint manipulation is a conservative and safe intervention to restore function and reduce pain in a joint that has lost its normal biomechanical mobility or function.

Some of the benefits of manipulation include:

  • Restoring joint mobility, function, and health

  • The improved joint function reduces the onset of degenerative effects of aging

  • Helps restore neuro-biomechanical function in a specific joint and through spine

  • Increases energy, and vitality and improves sleep
