  • We’re a cash-based clinic. Most of our patients come to us after trying insurance-based care and wanting a more in-depth approach

    This means we don’t bill insurance directly.

    However, many patients can still receive reimbursement depending on their plan. We’re happy to provide a superbill you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement.

    This allows us to focus on longer, more complete sessions — without the time limits or restrictions insurance places on care.

    For those who want quick relief or focused work, we can offer 15-minute pain-relief sessions.

ACTIVE RELEASE TECHNIQUES (ART)

  • ART is a specialized, hands-on therapy designed to treat soft tissue problems like muscle tightness, scar tissue, nerve entrapment, and overuse injuries. It combines precise movement with manual pressure to break up adhesions and restore normal function.

  • While both involve soft tissue work, ART is highly specific. We assess the movement of each muscle, tendon, or nerve and apply targeted treatment based on your movement patterns and symptoms. It’s often faster and more focused than traditional massage.

    What conditions does ART help with?
    ART is effective for:

    • Chronic tightness or stiffness

    • Sciatica and nerve entrapment

    • Rotator cuff and shoulder issues

    • Golfer’s or tennis elbow

    • Carpal tunnel syndrome

    • Hip impingement

    • Plantar fasciitis

    • Neck and low back pain related to muscle or nerve tension

  • Some areas may feel tender during treatment, especially if there’s a lot of tension or scar tissue. However, most patients describe it as a “good hurt” and feel immediate relief or increased mobility after the session.

  • The number of visits depends on your goals, your conditions, and how your body responds to care. However, many patients notice improvements to their musculo-skeletal complaints immediately. ART is often combined with chiropractic and rehab for optimal results.

CHIROPRACTIC

  • Chiropractic care focuses on restoring motion to the spine and joints through gentle, precise adjustments. It’s used to reduce pain, decrease tension, and support the body’s role in healing itself.

  • No. While adjustments can be an effective tool, there are many other tools and ways for patients to make progress with their goals We will inform you of your options, and continually work together with you to make choices you are comfortable with.

  • Not necessarily. Some patients come in for a short care plan to resolve pain; others prefer regular care to stay at their best. We’ll create a plan that fits your individual goals.

  • That’s completely fine.
    While adjustments are one tool we use, they’re never required for treatment.
    We also use:

    • fascia-focused therapy

    • muscle and mobility work

    • targeted exercises

    • Nutritional therapy

    • Laser/red-light therapy

    If you prefer not to be adjusted, we’ll build your treatment plan around the methods you’re most comfortable with—while still addressing the root cause of your pain.

ELDOA™

  • ELDOA™ is a specialized series of postural exercises designed to decompress the spine and reduce tension. Each position targets a specific area to increase mobility and decrease pain. For example, there is a specific ELDOA™ that aims to open L4-L5 can be applied to a patient with a bulging disc at L4-L5.

    ELDOA™ creates space in the vertebrae of the spine, which allows the spine to hydrate the joints and halt the inflammatory, degenerative processes that results in back stiffness and pain!

    World renowned French Osteopath, Guy VOYER, DO has spent over 35 years mastering the function of and harnessing the power of the fascial systems by applying a model of biotensegrity to create specific exercises and manual treatments to normalize the body. Most notably, VOYER has continued to develop the ELDOA™ techniques to help treat the spine, extremity joints, pelvis, and cranium.

  • ELDOA™ is great for people dealing with chronic back or neck pain, postural issues, disc injuries, or those wanting to improve performance and relieve stress to the joints.

  • While it may look similar to yoga, ELDOA is highly specific and biomechanically focused. You’ll feel the difference in how targeted and intentional each position is.

  • The ELDOA exercises use the fascial lines to create global tension in the body around or toward a joint with the primary goal of increasing space within a chosen articulation. As the ELDOA “creates” space, there is an improvement in joint mechanics, increased blood flow, reduced pressure on the discs, a reduction of pain, spinal disc rehydration, improved posture, and a sense of wellbeing and awareness. SOMATHERAPY / SOMATRAINING

  • SomaTherapy is a gentle, hands-on approach that works with the body’s fascia, viscera, and joints to restore proper function and fluid movement. It’s based on osteopathic principles and can help with pain, tension, and restricted motion.

  • No. While both are hands-on, SomaTherapy is more targeted and respects the body’s anatomy & physiology. It often addresses deeper patterns and imbalances related to posture, injury, or long-term compensation.

  • SomaTraining is a rehab-based program designed to teach specific tools for changing and normalizing the body’s tensegrity biomechanics to attain maximum function and health.

    If we want to see lasting outcomes in our patients’ progress, we need to consider a higher level of anatomy, beyond what we’ve previously learned, combined with tensegrity-based biomechanics.

    You cannot distinguish between structures that your brain isn’t aware of. If our eyes have only been trained to perceive muscles, bones, and nerves, and are blind to the integral material that connects them, our ability to make permanent change to the system and to the quality of our patients’ lives is vastly limited.

    Inherent to this paradigm shift, the Complexity Model of thinking teaches understanding, and treating of the whole body. Patients can be categorized into three categories

         1. Pain : Interested in getting out of pain, recovering from injuries.

         2. Wellness : Interested in improving health, orthopedically and emotionally.

         3. Performance : Interested in increasing sports performance and athletic potential.

MANUAL ETIOTHERAPY

  • Manual Etiotherapy is a hands on treatment that aims to treat the root cause (etio = root) by normalizing structure and alignment (manual medicine). Based on Dr. Guy VOYER’s Osteopathy that is moving away from modern osteopathy that has lost its science and art.

    A.T. Still, founder of osteopathy (1874), said "Structure governs function" - this means that when the body is free to move, it is functioning properly.

    Manual Etiotherapy is a holistic approach to find and address the cause of disharmony in the body via recognizing that your health and well-being is tied to the structure and function of all systems working together.

    The tenets of modern Osteopathy:

    1. The role of the artery is absolute

    2. The body has the capacity to auto-normalize

    3. The body functions as a global unit

    4. The body follows the rule of complexity

    5. Structure dictates function (but there is a synergy).

  • Fascia connects every part of the body; it is the skin of ALL human body parts:

    • Skin of the Brain & Spinal Cord - Dura mater

  • WG Sutherland and Emanuel Swedenborg discovered movements intrinsic to the cranial membranes which justify the micro-mobility of the bones of the skull. The biomechanics of hundreds of joints in the skull affect the body in many ways. The consequences on the sensory organs, the cranial nerves, the different parts of the brain are vast.

    Cranial treatment can support a variety of issues such as:

    • Concussions/Trauma

    • Poor sleep

    • Musculoskeletal Injuries

  • Proper quality and movement of the internal organs and their surrounding connective tissue are also important to consider, even when dealing with an orthopedic issue.

    For example: imagine if the pelvis is in rotation, the broad ligament (which spans the uterus, fallopian tubes, and ovaries) is affected and can make it more difficult for fertilization to occur. The therapist will first treat the attachment point (s) which are in a lesion situation in order then to normalize the tension of the broad ligament and allow it to regain a balanced role. "Structure governs function". It is the same for all the viscera.

PHOTOBIOMODULATION

  • Photobiomodulation is a therapy that uses specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light to support cellular function and tissue recovery.

    The light is absorbed by cells and may help improve energy production (ATP), circulation, and tissue repair processes. It is commonly used to support tendon healing, joint irritation, muscle recovery, and nerve sensitivity.

    It is painless, non-invasive, and does not involve heat or force.

    We use it selectively — as a supportive tool when it aligns with your treatment plan. It does not replace structured rehab or hands-on care. It enhances recovery when appropriate.

  • Yes, when properly dosed.

    Photobiomodulation has been studied extensively and is considered safe for musculoskeletal use when applied at appropriate wavelengths and dosages. We follow evidence-informed parameters rather than generic settings.

    More is not always better. Precision matters.

  • No.

    Light therapy can support tissue recovery, but mechanical loading, movement quality, and strength development remain essential for long-term results.

    We do not rely on passive therapies alone.
