Sciatica
Why does my sciatica keep coming back?
G3 Chiro in Newport Beach treats sciatica by looking for what keeps irritating the nerve rather than treating only where the pain shows up. Sciatic pain runs from the low back or hip down the leg, and the segment driving it is often somewhere other than the spot that hurts. Dr. Jaron Hua works through the joints, muscles and fascia involved in sessions of 45 to 90 minutes, then gives you specific exercises to hold the change between visits.

Does this sound like you?
- Pain that runs from your low back or hip down one leg
- Numbness, tingling, or a leg that feels unreliable
- Worse after sitting, driving, or first thing in the morning
- You have stretched, rested and waited, and it keeps returning
Severe sciatic pain
I came in unable to walk, sit, or stand for more than two minutes without excruciating pain. On my very first visit, he thoroughly evaluated my condition and immediately created a plan. Before finding Dr. Jaron, I tried everything, traditional chiropractic adjustments, physical therapy, and massage therapy, but nothing worked.

In their own words
Severe sciatica
By March I was bedridden. I couldn't stand for more than three minutes. I could only take a shower for three minutes, really fast, and run out soaking wet because I couldn't even dry myself off. I went to physical therapy, it didn't help at all. No improvement, it actually got worse.

Why it keeps coming back
Most people with lasting sciatica have already tried both halves of the usual answer. Adjustments without enough rehabilitation, so relief fades between visits. Or exercises without enough hands-on work, so the tissue that is actually restricted never changes. G3 combines both in the same session, which is the gap that leaves people stuck when they try either one alone.
How Dr. Jaron looks at it
Dr. Jaron assesses how the lumbar spine, pelvis, hips and surrounding fascia move together, because sciatic symptoms are usually a relationship problem rather than a single bad joint. Treatment may include hands-on joint and fascial work and specific corrective exercise, matched to what the assessment actually finds.
What to expect
The first visit is an assessment and a plan, not a quick adjustment on the way out the door. You leave understanding what is driving your symptoms and with exercises you can do on your own.
